The vest is knitted from the top down in double rib. The neckline is knitted double and knitted down. The vest is knitted higher at the back, using the German Short Rows technique. At the same time, increases are made in pairs, a total of 4 times per round. When the number of stitches is reached, the shoulder stitches are cast off, and the front and back pieces are knitted separately. When the desired length is reached on the front and back pieces, these are gathered and knitted in the round.

You should also knit one section, on each side of the front piece, with increases and decreases to get a feminine look on the front piece. When the desired length of the body is achieved, cast off with Italian cast off.

Pick up stitches around the sleeve openings and knit an i-cord edge. Otherwise, knit the entire vest in double rib, K2 and P2.

Finally, the zipper lining is knitted from the remaining stitches, so that the zipper will also look nice from the wrong side. The zipper is finally attached by hand.

It is a good idea to knit a test piece before you start to check that the knitting tension is correct. Note that the knitting tension is given in rib after rinsing.

Sizes

Wild in the West is a tight-fitting model. A chest measurement of approximately 80 - 85 (85 - 95) 95 - 105 (105 - 115) 115 - 125 (125 - 135) cm corresponds to size XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL). This means that if you measure approx. 90 cm around the chest, you should knit a size S. Measure yourself before you start knitting. It will adapt to the body, and will stretch 15 - 20 cm without spoiling the expression. This means that the width stated in the pattern is when it is stretched. The sizes correspond to standard European sizes.
