The sweater is knitted from the top down in double rib in one piece. The neckline is knitted double and knitted down. The sweater is knitted higher at the back, using the German Short Rows technique. At the same time, increases are made in pairs, a total of 4 times per round. Classic raglan is also used to achieve the desired number of stitches in certain sizes. It is knitted back and forth until the sleeve stitches are put to rest. Then the front and back pieces are knitted together and knitted in the round.
When the desired length of the body is reached, cast off with double Italian cast-off. Then knit the sleeves in double rib to the desired length.
Finally, the zipper lining is knitted from the remaining stitches, so that the zipper will also look nice from the wrong side. The zipper is finally attached by hand.
It is a good idea to knit a test piece before you start to check that the knitting tension is correct. Note that the knitting tension is given in rib after rinsing.
Sizes
The stated measurement is when the rib is not stretched. It will adapt to the body, and will stretch 15 - 20 cm without spoiling the expression. The sizes correspond to common European sizes.
