Line's cuddly pants

The trousers are knitted from the top down in stockinette stitch. You start by knitting a nice folded edge, then knit reverse rows to get a good fit. Increases are evenly distributed in the trousers to achieve width and decreases on the trouser legs. The entire trousers are knitted in stockinette stitch, except for the round with purl stitches to get a nice, distinctive folded edge. The folded edge on the legs is knitted double, before it is folded and knitted in and sewn to place, or knit an i-cord edge. At the very end, knit up a long i-cord cord.

It is a good idea to knit a test piece before you start to check that the knitting tension is correct. Note that the knitting tension is stated after rinsing.

Sizes

Waist measurement of approximately 63 - 67 (68 - 76) 78 - 84 (85 - 94) 95 - 106 cm corresponds to size XS (S) M (L) XL. The pants will adapt to the body, and it is important that the pants fit well around the buttocks. I have therefore chosen to knit my pants in size S. I measure 79 cm in the waist, and 90 cm in the hip measurement. The sizes correspond to standard European sizes. If you are in doubt about two sizes, I recommend going down one size. The pants are somewhat heavy and give a little in use. Therefore knit the pants legs approx. 1.5 cm shorter than the length you want to use.
