Super Easy Blouse is a light and feminine blouse designed to be both beautiful and easy to knit. The pattern is very beginner-friendly and is written without abbreviations, making it easy to follow step by step. In the pattern you will also find QR codes and links to video tutorials showing the techniques used along the way.

The blouse is knitted from the top down, so you can easily try it on as you go and adjust the length to get the fit that suits you best. The entire blouse is knitted in stocking stitch, making it a perfect project for beginners or for anyone who wants a simple and relaxing knit.

The fit is slightly oversized, yet feminine in the cut. The raglan increases are made with yarn-overs, which create small rows of eyelets on each side of the raglan stitches. This gives the blouse a light and delicate look.

The blouse is knitted longer at the back using short rows. I recommend using the short row technique for a neat and even result. If you would like a simpler version, you can also choose to knit it without making the back longer.

If you want a more A-shaped blouse, you can work increases at each side of the body. You can also choose to skip these increases if you want an even simpler knit.

The blouse is knitted in Tilia, or in another yarn that gives the same gauge. 🧶✨

Alternative yarn:

A double strand of lace-weight silk mohair. Or a thin carry-along thread such as Alva from Filcolana together with a lace-weight silk mohair.

Gauge
The gauge is important for the garment to come out in the right size. So be sure to knit a gauge swatch before you begin. Measure over 10 x 10 cm after the swatch has been washed and dried in the same way the garment will be treated.

If you get more stitches than stated, you are knitting too tightly, go up a needle size.
If you get fewer stitches than stated, you are knitting too loosely, go down a needle size.

The correct gauge ensures that the garment has the right fit and that the yarn amount is accurate.

Size guide

The blouse should have 10-15 cm of ease in relation to your bust measurement. A bust measurement of approximately 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) cm corresponds to size XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) . This means that if you measure about 90 cm around the bust, you should knit a size S. Measure yourself before you start knitting, to find out which size suits you best.
