The butterfly blouse is knitted from the top down in stocking stitch with double thread thin Line from Sandnes yarn, or similar yarn with the same knitting tension. First, knit the upper part of the shoulders, with increases towards the neck. Then pick up the stitches that you first started with and knit the back piece, with increases towards the back. When you have knitted two “equal” parts that are mirrored, gather these and knit a small section back and forth, before knitting in the round. Pick up sts along the edge of the armhole. Knit the ruffles separately, with increases to get nice ruffles. Finally, pick up sts around the neck opening. Knit a swatch to find the needle size that gives the correct knitting tension. Note that the knitting tension is stated after it has been rinsed.
