Recipe

This jacket is knitted from the top down, so you can easily try it on as you go to find the perfect fit for you. It is very easy to knit and can be a great beginner knit. The fit is oversized, with balloon sleeves.

The increases are made using yarn overs that form small rows of holes on each side of the raglan sts. Which also gives it a delicate look. The jacket is knitted in double thread, one thread Peruvian and one thread Tilia from Filcolana or another type of yarn that gives the same knitting tension. If you want a lighter version, you can knit it in triple thread silk mohair. Find all your mohair leftovers and knit a really great jacket from beautiful leftover yarns.
