The Honey V-cardi is knitted from the top down in one piece. You first knit the top part of the back piece, then pick up stitches for the shoulders. When both shoulders have been knitted separately, increase stitches to create a lovely v-neck. Then gather the back piece and front piece under the armhole, and knit the rest of the jacket back and forth in textured knit. Pick up stitches for the sleeves and knit these in the round in textured knit. Finally, pick up stitches along the entire edge of the jacket. Then knit a double-knit button band, either with or without buttonholes. The entire jacket is knitted according to the diagram, except for the ends, which are knitted in rib. The ribs are knitted with K1 twisted, P1, which gives a nice, distinctive stitch definition. The Honey V-cardi is knitted in a thread Tilia together with a thread Morganite Merino Silk, or equivalent with the same knitting tension. This yarn combination gives a luxurious feel to the jacket.

It is a good idea to knit a sample before you start to check that your knitting tension is correct. Note that the knitting tension is given in structured knit after rinsing.

I recommend that you try on the jacket during the knitting process. Also take your experiences from how your swatch has changed before and after rinsing. This way you can knit the perfect garment for your body.

Size guide

Honey V-cardi can have a range of motion of approx. 15 - 25 cm. It is somewhat oversized in expression, but feel free to choose a size smaller if you want a more body-hugging jacket. I measure 93 cm around the chest and have knitted a size S. This gives me a range of motion of 25 cm.
