RECIPE
The Honey Slipover is knitted from the top down in one piece. You first knit the top part of the back piece, then pick up stitches for the shoulders. When both shoulders have been knitted separately, these are assembled by casting on stitches to form the front piece. The back piece and the front piece are assembled under the armhole, and the rest of the vest is knitted in the round in textured knit. The entire vest is knitted according to the diagram, except for the ends which are knitted in rib. The ribs are knitted with K1 twisted, P1, which gives a nice, distinctive stitch definition. The Honey Slipover is knitted in double thread Tilia together with one thread Saga. This yarn combination makes for a fluffy and warm vest.
It is a good idea to knit a test piece before you start to check that your knitting tension is correct. Note that the knitting tension is given in structured knit after rinsing.
I recommend that you try on the vest during the knitting process. Also take your experiences from how your swatch has changed before and after rinsing. This way you can knit the perfect garment for your body.
