Honey Baby Mittens are sweet and practical mittens knitted from the wrist down. The mittens begin with a nice long ribbing in twisted stitches, so they sit snugly and comfortably around little wrists. Stitches are then increased to give the mittens a lovely, roomy fit. The work continues in Honey texture until the desired length is reached, before the mittens are neatly bound off.
Finally, stitches are picked up along one side of the ribbing, and a long i-cord is knitted. Once the cord is the right length, it is grafted together with the other mitten. This makes the mittens extra practical, perfect for stroller walks, since they don't get lost as easily.
Small, cosy and thoughtfully designed mittens, both functional and charming 🧶💛
