Size: 1 - 2 years (2 - 7 years) junior // adult

Knitting tension: 18 stitches x 24 rows double rib on needle size 5 = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: 5 mm 60 cm / double pointed needles and 4 mm circular needle 40/60 cm

Yarn: Double strand Thin Merino wool together with 1 strand Thin Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn

Yarn quantity: 100 (100) 150 // 150 grams Thin Merino wool (50 grams = 175 meters) and 25 (25) 25 // 25 grams Thin Silk Mohair (25 grams = 212 meters)

Harepushoodie

The hoodie is knitted from the top down in double rib. First, a square is knitted, which corresponds to the top of the head. Then, sts are picked up along both sides of this square, and the hoodie is then knitted back and forth in double rib. Finally, it is gathered under the chin and then knitted in the round, at the same time dec at the back of the neck.

There are also tips for knitting the hoodie as a longer neck that extends nicely over the shoulder area. If you choose this variation, the yarn quantity is included (approx. 40 g goes for this variation).

Knit a swatch to find the right needle size that will give you the right gauge. Wash the swatch before measuring the gauge.
